15th edition of the World Policy Conference, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The 15th edition of the World Policy Conference (WPC), organized by Ifri and chaired by its founder Thierry de Montbrial, will be held in Abu Dhabi from 9-11 December. Since its first edition in 2008, the WPC's mission has been to reflect upon and to come up with solutions to the constant upheavals of today’s world and to create lasting bonds between the participants.
This international conference gives a voice to political, economic, academic and media players from over 40 countries - from major powers to medium and small countries, including emerging countries, thus ensuring a diversity and plurality of debates.
Abu Dhabi will host the World Policy Conference for the second time.

The work of this fifteenth edition will cover issues such as Geoeconomics and Development in a Fragmented World; The Sahel and West Africa: Geopolitics and Geoeconomics; the Rest of the World Facing the US-China Rivalry, the Future of EU and European Security After the Ukraine War; the Future of Geopolitics and Business, etc.
The following regions and themes will also be addressed Space Governance: The Implications of Globalized Access to Space Technologies; Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Facing the Ukraine War; Global Governance and Public Health; Critical Raw Materials; Food Security in a Fragmented World; The Relevance of “Indo-Pacific” as a Geostrategic Concept; The Middle East in the New Geopolitical Context and many other topics.
