Because of the enlargement, the partnership between the European Union and Russia is currently nearing a turning point. In fact, there is a deep gap between the institutional framework and the reality of exchanges. This article is aimed at explaining the main strategic options on the two sides and underlining the next importance of Ukraine in their relationship.
