ArchivesRichard Coudenhove-Kalergi (1894-1972), Philosopher, published, in 1923, a book which exposes his European Unity project, Paneuropa, and founded the Paneuropean Movement: the first congress has been living in Vienna in 1926 and called together 2000 participants. He had an influence on Aristide Briand's project of European Union at the 'Société des Nations' in 1929, and created, in 1948, in Gstaad, the Parlementary European Union. The same year, the Mouvement européen is founded, whose Coudenhove-Kalergi will be the Honor President.
