The Vietnamese economy experienced since the beginning of the 1990s a boom remarkable, due, inter alia, to its opening to the outside: the GDP per capita was multiplied by three during this period. The Vietnam is a member of ASEAN since 1995 and the WTO since 2007. It is one of the countries currently participating in the negotiation of Trans Pacific Partnership.
