Space Export Control Update: September 2004 to November 2005
CFE reports annually on the evolution of U.S. space export controls. The strictness of these regulations complicates business for satellite and launcher providers in the U.S. and elsewhere. However, Congress refuses to loosen them.
As there are no changes to report on that count, our annual report turns to other relevant themes. It presents an analysis of recent international non-proliferation initiatives, reports on India-U.S. renewed space business, the purchase of Russian Soyouz missions by Nasa and the emerging regulation of suborbital commercial flights.
