This conference is hosted by Ifri and Sciences Po Paris. Its purpose is to present the latest scenarios from the International Energy Agency (IEA) and to open a wider debate on key trends in the global energy sector.
The annual World Energy Outlook (WEO) is the International Energy Agency’s flagship publication, used as a reference by both governments and the energy industry. It incorporates the latest data, advice and projections to give a comprehensive and authoritative analysis of medium- and longer-term energy trends.
The conference will be introduced by Enrico Letta, Dean of PSIA. Tim Gould, Senior Analyst at the IEA will present key findings from the WEO 2016 and these elements will finally be discussed by Giacomo Luciani, Scientific Advisor of the Master International Energy at PSIA and Carole Mathieu, Research Fellow at the Ifri Center for Energy.
